Proven Brands Improve with New Product Releases

Manchester, NH (July 21, 2008) —New twists on proven flooring favorites—that’s the theme behind the hard-surface lineup Flooring America and Flooring Canada will debut at their “Vision 2 Action” summer convention on July 21-23 in Nashville, Tenn.

Two of the most anticipated products are NaturCor Natural Grandeur vinyl, an upgrade to the best-selling Natural Splendor product, and ceramic tile from Bedford Mills, a brand renowned for its high-end carpet and hardwood products.

“Natural Splendor is a hugely successful product,” explained Bill Snowdon, director of merchandising for Flooring America and Flooring Canada. “Customers fell in love with the performance and aesthetics of this floor, and we’re excited to provide the latest improvements that NaturCor has made to this proven seller.”

Among those improvements is a considerable increase in both overall thickness and wear layer thickness, which makes Natural Grandeur even more durable and long lasting than its predecessor. Like Natural Splendor, the new Natural Grandeur vinyl floor is highly resilient, thanks to its fiberglass-encapsulated base. And as far as aesthetics are concerned, Natural Grandeur lives up to its name, with a striking, rustic appearance. “The bottom line is that it looks gorgeous,” Snowdon said.  Natural Grandeur will launch in July and will be featured on a new Vision 2008 display.

“Vision 2 Action” will also set the stage Bedford Mills’ first foray into ceramic flooring. Bedford Mills is known primarily for its elite-quality, high-style carpet and hardwood, and Snowdon said the brand’s ceramic floors follow suit.

“Bedford Mills has really expanded the range of possibilities for ceramic tile,” he explained. “The accent pieces are made from some beautiful materials that you don’t see used very often, like glass, metal and stone.”

Bedford Mills’ ceramic collection will include decos, listellos, borders and insets. The Vision 2008 wall display will feature a host of new products and grout boards, showing customers the wide variety of colors, designs and applications.
