CCA Global Partners and FCIF Rename Annual Golf Tournament in Honor of Its Founder, Alan Greenberg

More than $600,000 Raised for the FCIF to Date

Atlanta, GA (September 20, 2007) – The annual CCA Global Partners sponsored golf tournament for the benefit of the Floor Covering Industry Foundation (FCIF) has been renamed the Alan Greenberg Charity Golf Tournament in honor of its founder, Alan Greenberg. Alan Greenberg, co-Founder, co-CEO, and co-Chairman of CCA Global Partners, passed away August 28, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. He had been actively involved in fundraising throughout his life, and his efforts helped to establish the CCA Global Partners/FCIF Annual Charity Golf Tournament. Since the first tournament in September 2003, the event has raised more than $600,000 for the FCIF.

“In honor of Alan’s commitment to his friends in the floor covering industry, we are delighted to announce that the FCIF Golf Tournament has been renamed the Alan Greenberg Charity Golf Tournament,” announced CEO, Chairman, and co-Founder of CCA Global Partners, Howard Brodsky. “The floor covering industry and golf were two of Alan’s passions. That his name will carry on the legacy of an event that unites these passions, an event he’s responsible for founding, would have pleased him very much.”

The Alan Greenberg Charity Golf Tournament was held in Stone Mountain, GA on Thursday, September 20, 2007. 152 floor covering industry colleagues and leaders gathered for a day full of golf to raise funds for The Floor Covering Industry Foundation (FCIF), a philanthropic organization dedicated to assisting floor covering industry members in times of need. The 2007 fundraising effort reached a new milestone, raising $160,000 for the cause.

“It has become an annual tradition for many of our friends in the industry to join us for a day of golf and a great reception to benefit this wonderful organization,” added Brodsky. “I really appreciate everyone’s participation and support for the FCIF, and I hope the Alan Greenberg Charity Golf Tournament will remain a tradition that continues for years to come.”

Flooring industry leaders and other CCA Global Partners colleagues traveled from all over North America to play at the beautiful Evergreen Marriot Resort 18-hole golf course and to enjoy the dinner and reception afterwards
