CCA Global Partners Recognized as #1 Floor Covering Retailer
CCA Global Also Listed as Top Specialty Retailer
Manchester, NH (August 29, 2005) – CCA Global Partners, a group of more than 3,600 retailers from 15 affiliate companies, was recently named to HFN magazine’s list of the Top 150 Specialty Retailers. With seven affiliate companies in the floor covering industry, including Carpet One, International Design Guild and Flooring America, CCA Global Partners was listed as the number one Floor Covering Retailer, above Home Depot and Lowe’s. CCA Global’s annual sales in floor covering alone totaled $4.9 billion in 2004.
In addition, Lighting One, another CCA company, was recognized as one of the top lighting retailers. Lighting One ranked number four on the list, just below Wal-Mart, recording $293 million in annual sales.
With annual sales of $8.2 billion in the home category, CCA Global is ranked number eight on the Top 10 Corporate Retailers list and number seven on the list of top retailers in the home category. The company shares the top ten with home furnishings giants like Wal-Mart, Home Depot and Target. CCA Global, whose sales increased by 9.3% last year, broke into the top ten after ranking number sixteen on HFN’s 2004 list.
