The Alan D. Greenberg Memorial Scholarship Fund Announces First Award Recipients

Manchester, NH (January 6, 2009) – CCA Global Partners, Inc., and the Greenberg family are proud to announce the first award recipients of the Alan D. Greenberg Memorial Scholarship Fund (Fund).  Trae Perry, of LaGrande, Oregon and Ryan Keller, of Manchester, New Hampshire will each receive $5,000 to further their post-secondary education.

Alan D. Greenberg grew up in a family owned floor covering business and he developed strong convictions about the importance of entrepreneurs in the business world.  Those convictions led him to co-found CCA Global Partners.  Through CCA, he coached and counseled hundreds of small business owners and their employees.  Outside CCA, he helped dozens of startup and small business owners develop their business skills.  Alan’s family and CCA Global Partners founded the Fund to continue Alan’s work with entrepreneurs.

The Fund will grant two scholarships per year, each up to $5,000.  The scholarships are available to all CCA Global Partners stockholders, their employees and subcontractors as well as their immediate families.  CCA Global Partners employees and their immediate families are also eligible.

Trae Perry was born in South Korea and brought to the United States by Carpet One Floor & Home member Russell Perry and his wife Wendy to join their family in Oregon.  Trae is currently attending Brigham Young University in Idaho and majoring in Business Management.  He plans to transfer to Idaho State University this fall to complete his undergraduate education.  His future plans include pursuing his graduate degree and starting a health center business that helps people focus on healthy living.  “I am so thankful for CCA Global Partners recognizing the importance of educating future entrepreneurs,” said Perry.  “I am honored to receive this scholarship.”

Ryan Keller is a Business Consultant with CCA Global Partners’ Flooring America division.  Keller is currently attending graduate school in the evenings at Southern New Hampshire University where he is pursuing a Global Masters of Business Administration degree.  Upon completion of his degree, Ryan plans to continue working in the corporate environment before striking out on his own, starting with commercial and residential real estate investment.  “CCA Global Partners encourages their employees to fulfill their dreams,” stated Keller.  “I am proud to receive this scholarship and am very thankful that CCA Global Partners and the Greenberg family chose me for this award, it certainly is a great help to me.”

The Fund supports education that will advance the long-term development of individuals as business people and entrepreneurs.

“Helping individuals like Trae and Ryan is exactly why we started this Fund,” said Tod Greenberg, Vice President of Technology for CCA Global Partners and Alan’s son.  “My father’s dreams were to encourage the entrepreneurial spirit in people and this Fund helps us to that.”

“Alan’s incredible legacy will continue because of this fund,” stated Howard Brodsky, co-Founder and co-CEO of CCA Global Partners.  “We received a number of outstanding applications and Trae and Ryan are budding entrepreneurs with a great future.”

The Fund will begin accepting applications in the summer of 2009 for the next round of awards.
